Back in 2009, when Electronic Arts acquired Playfish, my team was asked to develop the first EA-brand social game, FIFA Superstars.
I was strongly involved along the development of the game, from the early concepts to the final release, working closely with the developers, game designer and producers.
My main task was to recreate the environement of the FIFA games and to adapt it to the new gameplay.
I was also responsable of the user experience and of the design the user interface.
I also hired and manage two other artists to help me with the creation of the assets.
The game was release on Facebook on the 26th of May 2010 and attracted 2.8 million monthly players.
